This is the most recent (June 2008) update of information regarding the proposed Roundabout at North Main Street and Auburn Street.
The most recent Roundabout drawing for North Main Street and Auburn Street is currently under review by the Illinois Department of Transportation (I.D.O.T.). The Roundabout rendering currently under review by I.D.O.T. is the one that was presented to the public at the Informational Open House Meeting last fall at the Eiger Lab in Rockford on November 20, 2007 and November 27, 2007. This review is part of the Phase I approval process for the proposed Roundabout. At this time, the City of Rockford has not received final approval for the Roundabout.

Auburn Street Reconstruction - Aside from the roundabout issue, Auburn Street, from Harlem Boulevard to the intersection at Main, is going to be reconstructed and enhanced.
